What is FarmVille?

Anybody with a Facebook account can join FarmVille. The game was created by Zynga.

Players must first create an avatar. In the initial stages of farming, the farm is little and players only have 1 or 2 coins.

The fundamental idea at the beginning is that players have to spend to earn money. To play, players buy seeds and then make cash from the crops that they raise successfully.

When purchasing seeds, players are told how long it will take them to grow. Crops must be cropped in the allocated cropping time; or the crops will wither.

Some crops takes 2 days to age, some take simply a few hours.

Players can also build a barn and purchase items like trees, automobiles and decorations. Farm animals may also be bought, and these, like the crops, need special care.

You can upgrade your farm too, up to twenty-four by twenty-four acres.
